Best friends ever and the game

I just want to say that I have some of the best friends in the WORLD. Ever. 2 Fridays ago Jori Bowen, Heather Skelton, Madi Nash and I all got together and pigged out at Zaxby's before we went to the high school football game. We lost (surprise) 42-7 or something, but that was one of the most fun games I have ever been to in my ENTIRE life. (Maybe because I wasn't being a drum major or something...) We all were MOBBED by the marching band (Jori, Madi, and Heather by the bottom half in the stands [woodwinds] and me by the top half [brass]) because everyone said they missed us and all that. It was GREAT!!!!! Nice to know we've been missed. :) Also at the game were old friends Billy Hentenaar and Bug. And the Giddens/Perrys were there too. We all sat together and partied it up!
After the game, I gave Matt Schramm (one of my favorite people ever) a new mute. Story:
My sophmore year when I went to all state, I forgot to bring a straight mute. I was able to borrow one from a little 8th grader that I didn't know at all named Matt Schramm, because he had two for some reason. And then I lost it. As the YEARS went on, we became great friends and we always talked about how he was going to get the most awesome mute ever. And then I did. Windy City Copper Bottom. It's beautiful. And I wrote, "Is that Matt Schramm or Maynard Ferguson?" on the bottom. :) We used to say that to each other all the time.
Also, we watched the halftime show which was superb. Actually we only got to see the 3rd tune because it was homecoming :/ but it was reeeeeeeally good. (The next day was festival; they got STRAIGHT SUPERIORS on everything!)
Overall, a great night. :D

I Ran a Mile

At Gainesville, I'm taking a class called Personal Health and Wellness. Every
Wednesday, we exercise together. We can do anything from an 8 minute abs video from the 1980s, to running around the track, to stretching, you get the picture. Well, yesterday we went to the gym. We had to do 20 minutes of cardio, and then do stuff on at least 5 of the machines. I ran/walked on a treadmill for 20 minutes. During that time, I ran an entire mile. In 8.5 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!! I felt very accomplished. I was really sweaty but I wasn't even that embarrassed, because I ran a mile in 8 1/2 minutes. Oh yeah.
